Donington Flinders Park (2004-2009)
Matthew Flinders - who captained the first ship to circumnavigate Australia and mapped large sections of the Australian coastline - was born in Donington, South Lincolnshire. Richard was selected to act as landscape architect on a community-led project to create a new open space with a Flinders theme. Input involved preparing a series of grant applications, stakeholder liaison, design documentation and contract management.
